Days linger on
months go by

but not a moment passes
without you in my heart

I miss you so much
I can't express it

words get stuck
deep inside me

sometimes I just feel
that I choke

and there are times
when I can't

listen to those songs
look at your pictures

and yet I do
and I feel pain

I know you're there
and you're free of pain

and knowing it
comforts me

I try to talk to you
but I don't know how

sometimes I'm not sure
if you can hear me

but in my heart I know
you can feel my thoughts
